Stafford Recreational Soccer League SRSL is a nonprofit organization that hosts the recreational soccer program in Stafford County. The county provides the fields and other facilities, but SRSL is not a county organization - unpaid volunteers run it. "Purpose and Philosophy. The purpose and philosophy of SRSL is to interest and unite Stafford county and surrounding area residents by promoting participation in the game of soccer and teaching the principles of sportsmanship, good health habits, character, athletic skills, social well-being and team spirit. Soccer play within SRSL will be a recreational, "FUN" type of experience for those involved. The ideals of fair play, good sportsmanship, safety, integrity and honesty will be emphasized and will be an integral part of soccer play conducted by SRSL. SRSL activities will be instructional and teach fundamentals of soccer. Healthy competition will be promoted at the appropriate age levels, but not at the expense of the above-mentioned ideals."
